According to a report, it seems likely the Steelers will be without pass rusher T.J. Watt on Sunday night against the Ravens, a game that will decide the division.
Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio says he talked with a source that told him Watt playing against Baltimore is a “long shot” adding “Never say never but not an ideal timeline to be fully cleared.”
Watt has missed the past three games due to a punctured lung suffered during a dry needling procedure.
Watt had surgery in early December following the medical accident. The Steelers were able to win the first two games without Watt, but fell to the Browns on Sunday in Cleveland.
Shortly after the injury, it was reported that Watt was expected to return before the regular season ended. But, the regular season ends this Sunday and it’s win or go home.
The Steelers need to win to advance to the playoffs on Sunday night. If they lose, they go home and the Ravens win the AFC North.
