Glazer, who is close with head Coach Mike Tomlin and was a guest on the Pat McAfee show Wednesday, says first of all it’s up to Ben Roethlisberger if he comes back or not next season, but doesn’t see it happening.

“It’s kind of up to Ben, kind of like how it was with Drew Brees with the Saints too, it’s like we’re not going to push him out as long as he wants to go,” said Glazer.

If Roethlisberger does hang up his cleats after the season, it likely won't be Mason Rudolph's job for the taking next season.

The 2022 draft class isn’t considered strong and Pitt’s Kenny Pickett possibly going in the first round.

While there that have been pushing for Pickett to remain in Pittsburgh with the Steelers next season, Glazer sees them going after a veteran on the market.

“It’s going be more of these other, the Deshaun Watsons, if Russell (Wilson) will be out there, Aaron (Rodgers), I mean those type of guys, there’s going to be a huge market.

Glazer has reported recently that Tomlin wants a veteran quarterback in 2022, and if Glazer is reporting it, it’s likely he heard it direct from the Steelers coach.
