Shapiro and Aiken have ties to each other with the governor appointing Aiken to the University of Pittsburgh’s Board of Trustees last year.
Shapiro’s daughter is also a recent grad at Pitt.
Jeff Capel’s squad looks to keep the momentum going after snapping a four-game losing streak against Miami on Saturday.
