Another day, another edition of Colin Cowherd trashing the Steelers.
Coming off an upset win against the defending AFC Champion Cincinnati Bengals, Cowherd had to rain on Steeler Nation’s parade Monday.
“Pittsburgh’s not fooling anybody,” said Cowherd. On his podcast.
The Pittsburgh offense struggled for a majority of the game on Sunday and Cowherd said that is the kind of play you will see from the Steelers all season long.
“They’re going to bring some packages in from Trubisky, get a lead, hope to cling to it,” said Cowherd adding teams won’t be giving the ball over five times in a game the rest of the season.
“They got lucky,” added Cowherd.
Most logical Steelers fans know the 2022 Steelers are going to be underdogs in a lot of games.
Now that T.J. Watt will miss at least six weeks with a pec injury and running back Najee Harris will be out with some sort of leg injury, the Steelers are going to need other players to step up.
A less than ideal offensive line and inability to get any offense going led by quarterback Mitch Trubisky, it was apparent they need to get better if they want to be a serious competitor for a playoff spot.
The Steelers have issues, sure, but can we just have a day to enjoy a win without Colin Cowherd peeing in our Wheaties.
