J.J. Watt recently responded to a social media post from Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, talking about his fascination with siblings in the NFL.

Watt responded, calling Tomlin an “incredible coach & incredible man” and expressed interest in visiting the team’s South Side headquarters at some point.

Tomlin responded saying, “you are welcome anytime.”

Well Tomlin made sure there was no confusion on why he will be visiting.

Speaking on the Pardon My Take podcast, Watt made it clear he is only coming to Pittsburgh to visit, no to play for the Steelers.

“I will not be playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers,” said Watt, adding he will come to Acrisure Stadium to watch his brother T.J. play.

“for me to play this season, I would have to be training right now,” Watt added.

So, any hope you may have had for a Watt duo on defense, J.J. has put those rumors to rest.

One thing that remains unanswered in Wattland is what will happen with fullback/special teams player Derek Watt.

He remains unsigned.
