Pittsburgh Pirates infielder/outfielder Ji Hwan Bae is one step closer to returning to the team after finishing up a rehab assignment.
The organization announce Monday that Bae has been reinstated from the Injured List after he suffered a right wrist sprain.
Bae went on the IL on June 3, after he was called up in late-May.
He spent the beginning of the year on the injured list with a muscle sprain in his hip.
Bae only played eight games before landing back on the IL.
He his .208 with two RBI before his recent injury.
Bae has been optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis.
