Taylor Swift’s boyfriend thinks the media is a bunch of “jackasses” for thinking Mike Tomlin should be fired by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Talking on his “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted by this brother Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce spoke on members of the media wanting to see the Steelers move on earlier this season when the Steelers were struggling.
Talking about the Steelers beating the Seahawks, Travis pointed out the Steelers Head Coach has secured a 17th straight non-losing season.
“Holy f**k,” said Travis, reacting to Tomlin’s achievement.
“They were talking about firing him what, seven weeks ago?” asked Jason.
“The media is so dumb, why do we do the media, just a bunch of jackasses . . . just out here f***ing talking nonsense,” said Travis. “One of the best coaches the NFL’s ever even seen.”
Most of the calls, and from me, were for the Steelers to consider trading Tomlin, not because he isn’t still a great coach, but because his time has gotten stale in Pittsburgh. Much like Andy Reid when he was in Philadelphia.
