The regular season has come to an end and now the focus shifts to the high school basketball playoffs. But first, we take a look back at some of the top individual showings from the final week of section play.

This season, KDKA Radio will again nominate players each week to join the KDKA Radio Super 7 Awards watch list. Every Monday, a new crop of players will be unveiled based on their efforts that previous week. At the end of the year, KDKA Radio will announce the winners of the award for each WPIAL boys and girls classification, as well as the Pittsburgh City League.

Here are the top performances from Week 10:

Aaron Webb, Indiana

Webb has become one of the region’s most heavily recruited basketball players, and showed exactly why last week.

The junior scored 35 points in a 68-63 win over Shaler Tuesday and followed that with a school record 49 points against Plum in a 82-65 win Friday.

Webb has picked up offers from Virginia Tech, Penn State, JMU, LaSalle and Pepperdine and has several more power conference schools interested.

Indiana finished the regular season 13-8 and will meet Gateway next Tuesday in the Class 5A first round.

Tess Duer, Aquinas Academy

Not once. Not twice. Not three times. But four big games for Tess Duer and Aquinas Academy last week.

Duer, a 5-foot-3 senior, poured in 22, 26, 19 and 31 points in four wins last weeks over Eden Christian, Springdale, Western Beaver and St. Joseph.

All four wins came in section play, as Aquinas finished the regular season at 19-2 overall, earning the top seed in the Class 1A playoffs.

Duer’s twin brother, Sam, is the top scorer on the Aquinas boys basketball team, as well.

Josh Pratt, Lincoln Park

After battling through a mid-season injury, Pratt has come on strong of late to lead Lincoln Park to the postseason .

Last week, he went for 32, 20 and 19 points in impressive wins over Mars, West Allegheny and Imani Christian.

One of the region’s top recruited players, Pratt is committed to Columbia of the Ivy League.

The Leopards earned the 2-seed in the Class 5A playoffs and will begin their postseason next Tuesday.

Julia Antonacci, Indiana

Aaron Webb isn’t the only top scorer at Indiana.

Julia Antonacci has been racking up big numbers all season and finished the regular year strong with 31, 25 and 15-point efforts in a trio of wins over West Mifflin, Greensburg Salem and Penn-Trafford.

Antonacci is committed to Allegheny College.

Indiana will be the 3-seed in the WPIAL 5A playoffs and host Mars Friday.
