Another season of high school basketball is here and so is the return of the KDKA Radio Super 7 Watch List.
This season, KDKA Radio will again nominate players each week to join the KDKA Radio Super 7 Awards watch list. Every Monday, a new crop of players will be unveiled based on their efforts that previous week. At the end of the year, KDKA Radio will announce the winners of the award for each WPIAL boys and girls classification, as well as the Pittsburgh City League.
Here are the KDKA Radio Preseason Boys Players to Watch for each classification:
BOYS
CLASS 6A
Kai Cox, New Castle: Burst onto the scene last year by scoring 17.1 points per game as a freshman.
Andrew Gettinger, Butler: Paced Butler with 15.3 points epr game a year ago.
Damian Harrison, New Castle: Athletic big man who scored 14 per game for the Canes last season.
Enzo Khalil, Central Catholic: Physical guard who racked up nearly 15 points per game in 2024-2025.
Liam Sheely, Mt. Lebanon: Through multiple injuries, scored 18.3 points per night for Lebo.
Scoop Smith, Woodland Hills: Lightning quick guard who posted 17.7 points per game as a junior.
Grant Spacciapolli, Pine-Richland: Sharpshooting guard who scored 16.1 points per game last season.
CLASS 5A
Jackson Bauman, Moon: Transfer from Knoch where he posted 15.6 points per game from the guard position.
Mykel Bruce-McCrommon, Gateway: Long small forward with Division I interest who scored 21.3 points per last year.
Dylan Donovan, Peters Township: Dynamic guard who posted 19.5 points per game last season
Amon Hawthorne, Penn Hills: Racked up 16 ppg last season to lead the Indians.
Josh Pratt, Lincoln Park: Division I prospect and Aliquippa transfer who scored 22.2 points per night last year.
Austen Wroblewski, Mars: Deep threat guard who contributed 19 points per game as a junior.
Nicholas Trklja, Thomas Jefferson: Small forward with good size who dropped in 18.7 points per in 2024-2025.

Jared Astorino, Ambridge: Already a 1,000 point scorer who went for 18 points per game last year.
Tyler Basic, Elizabeth Forward: Guided the Warriors with 16.7 points per game a year ago.
Teegan Finucan, Knoch: Paced Knoch with 21.3 last year and will play even bigger role due to transfers.
Jason Fredericks, North Catholic: Headlined dynamic Trojans offense with 19.1 points per game in 2024-2025.
Stanley Rajkovich, Derry: Lengthy wing who dropped 16.5 points per as a sophomore.
Collin Rodgers, Deer Lakes: Accomplished soccer player who also scored 13.4 points per game on the hardwood.
Jude Rottmann, North Catholic: Dangerous scorer who went for 15 points per game a year ago.
CLASS 3A
Drew Allen, Bishop Canevin: Accounted for 16.3 points per game for WPIAL semifinalists.
Drew Cook, South Allegheny: Steered Gladiators to first WPIAL title while scoring 21 points per contest last season.
Bobby Fadden, Mohawk: 5-sport athlete who shines on the court, scoring 21.7 points per game in 2025-2026.
Noah Felentzer, Soutnmoreland: Top returning boys scorer in the WPIAL after going for 22.5 point per game as a junior.
Qa’Lil Goode, Aliquippa: Division I football prospect who ripped out 14.4 points per game last season.
Erond Jakupi, Keystone Oaks: High scoring point guard who racked up 19.6 points per game in his junior season.
Luke Scarff, South Park: Bruising center who score 22.1 points per game and averaged a double-double a year ago.

Kymon’e Brown, Jeannette: Floor general who guided Jeannette to a WPIAL title last year, scoring 12.5 points per.
Adam Ikamba, Sewickley: Intriguing athlete who scored 10 points per game and was shot blocking threat.
Jake Johnson, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart: Went for 15.8 points per game as a junior for the PIAA semifinalists.
Mamadou Kane, Sewickley Academy: Burst onto the scene as a freshman last year, going for 15.9 points per.
David Kwiat, Neshannock: Consistent scoring threat at 18 points per game for WPIAL semifinalist.
Markus McGowan, Jeannette: Rangy small forward who racked up 15.9 points per game in 2025-2026.
Taris Wooding, Clairton: Led the Bears with 16 points per game and to WPIAL postseason.

Sam Duer, Aquinas Academy: The next big scoring threat for Acquinas after going for 21.2 ppg last season.
Kedron Gilmore, Neighborhood Academy: Averaged 16 points per and will have even bigger role in offense this year.
Derick Hardeman, Neighborhood Academy: Poised to elevate his scoring from 8 points per game last year with departure of Courtney Wallace.
Mark Johnson, Serra Catholic: Averaged 11.5 points per game as a sophomore in 2024-2025.
Julius Page, Jr., Neighborhood Academy: Son of former Pitt standout by the same name, Page enters his freshman season.
Tyler Sapida, Serra Catholic: 6-foot-3 scorer who averaged 10 points per game last year in complimentary role.
Evan Strimel, Geibel Catholic: Led the Gators to the postseason while scoring 20 points per game.
CITY LEAGUE
Landen Boykin, Perry: Shifty and tough guard who posted some high scoring games last year.
Zion Connor, Obama Academy: 6-foot-5 big man who will help Eagles challenge for City League title.
Naron Jackson, Obama Academy: Earned all City League status last year, scoring 18.3 points per game.
Lukas Stead, Allderdice: Reigning City League Player of the Year who scored 16.8 points per.
