A man who is accused of stealing Kenny Pickett’s car while he was doing an interview with 93.7 The Fan recently, skipped a court appearance Monday morning, prompting a warrant to be issued for his arrest.

According to the Post-Gazette, 60-year-old Christopher Carter failed to show up to a hearing in Monroeville.

The theft happened at the Bowser Chevrolet during the debut of The Fan’s new remote studio at the facility in Monroeville on May 24.

Carter reportedly took Pickett’s car, a 2023 Hyundai Genesis and drove it to his home in Murrysville, where the car was recovered.

Pickett’s Steelers playbook was also in the car, but was also recovered.

Carter was arrested and faces charges of vehicle theft, receiving stolen property and was released after his arrest.

Now, a bench warrant is out for Carter, who was observed inside the Bowser showroom by 93.7 The Fan staff before the incident.
