PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – On the Pat McAfee Show on Monday from the NFL owner’s meetings in Arizona, Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy addressed the latest with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and whether he would return in 2026.
“He talks to the coaches, there is a lot of very positive, healthy communication going on,” McCarthy said on the Pat McAfee Show.
“I’ve talked to Aaron regularly and we are just working through it. When it’s time to full address it, we will. It’s a process that he is going through and I’m comfortable with it.”
McCarthy told McAfee they’ve had ‘very, very positive conversations on a weekly basis’ with Rodgers. McCarthy said his offense is something that he believes in and also what Rodgers believes in.
There was no timetable for when Rodgers might decide, although McCarthy told McAfee they are starting phase one of their offseason work next week.
