Sure, the Steelers are 3-2 and in first place in the AFC North heading into the bye week, but they haven’t looking particularly good for a sustained amount of time in any of those wins.

Much of the frustration with the team revolves around offensive play-caller Matt Canada and what is seemingly an underperforming offense.

Canada may be taking most of the heat, but there are those that are also pointing a finger of blame toward Head Coach Mike Tomlin, for continuing to employ the offensive coordinator.

The Steelers haven’t won a playoff game in seven years, have lost the past three playoff games badly, with the defense giving up over 40 points in each of those games.

Even with all of that, FOX Sports continues to consider Mike Tomlin one of the best coaches in the NFL.

In it’s new coaching ranking list, FOX has Tomlin as the third best coach in the league.

Why? I think you can guess the answer.

“He's been on the job for 17 years and has yet to have a losing season in Pittsburgh,” the article on FOX Sports’ website reads.

The article goes on to point out all of Tomlin’s accomplishments, those all happened in the past.

Is Mike Tomlin a good coach? Yes, he may even be great but has his time in Pittsburgh turned stale?

Kansas City Chief coach Andy Reid is ranked first in the poll, followed by San Francisco 49ers leader Kyle Shanahan.
