The nature of TJ Watt's lung issue is reportedly a small hole in his lung.
The NFL Network's Tom Pelissero says Watt had a procedure after doctors ruled out problems with his collarbone and ribs:
“Not any time of a major, or long-term issue for T.J. Watt, the issue has been fixed,” said Pelissero on NFL Network Friday. “What he needs now is rest and while you never rule out a guy like T.J. Watt, it does seem unlikely that he’s going to be available on Monday night.”
Watt reported some pain in his chest after he arrived at the Steelers facility to work out on Wednesday.
The Steelers will play the Miami Dolphins at Acrisure Stadium on Monday night with temperatures expected to be in the teens.
