Fourth time this season Chris Boswell has made at least four field goals in a game and the second time he made six. And the second time he’s accounted for all of the team’s points in a win.
“I love Boz, I’m tired of him getting player of the week,” Tomlin said. “It reminds us of our warts. It reminds us of the work we need to do. No doubt, I’m thankful he’s on our team.”
“I’m just here to do my job and we needed six today,” Boswell said. “We didn’t need any last week. As long as we get the Dub, who cares about the rest.”
“He’s always been one of the best in the game, and he showed that again,” said Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson. “When you really think about it, championship games, championship moments, they come down to crucial kicks.”

Payton Wilson
It was following a Russell Wilson interception. The Ravens were near midfield when Lamar Jackson floated a pass for Justice Hill, it appeared initially he came down with a 20-yard gain, instead as the ball was going into Hill’s arms, rookie linebacker Payton Wilson took it away for a huge interception.
“I went under the pick route,” Wilson explained. “Once you go under a pick route you are in chase mode. Once his hands go up, I played through his hands and the ball happened to be there and I took it from him.”
“We were talking all week, he and I, about his matchup with 43,” Tomlin said, adding he did not blink. “He’s a pass-situation linebacker, 43 is a pass-situation runner. We knew they were going to go at him. He needed to be prepared. We worked him all week in terms of that matchup.”
“You create your fortunes when you are locked in. He was locked in and cognizant of the challenge and rose up to meet it.”
“Plays like that, that’s not normal. To focus, to be able to know Justice, run with him step for step and make a play like that, that’s All-Pro stuff. For a rookie to make a play like that, that’s insane.”

Ravens scored with 1:06 to play in the game, as they lined up for the two-point conversion to tie it, Tomlin called time out. He said the Ravens did show them a little of what they were going to do and he believes it possibly made them change the play to roll to his left, where he is less dangerous.
“I was really just playing football on that play,” Porter said. “I saw my guy block down and not go out for a pass. I saw Lamar roll out to his left, so I was like, let me just make a play and that happened.”
According to Queen, Porter told the team in the huddle ‘we are stopping them and they are not scoring on this two-point conversion’.
Queen said he that helped give them confidence.
Fields returns
Quarterback Justin Fields ran twice for 17 yards and nearly for the game-ending first down. It was the first action for Fields since Russell Wilson became the starting quarterback.
“We put a few plays in at the beginning of the week,” Fields said. “I kind of knew that if the situation presented itself, that I would be on the field for a couple of plays.”
“It was kinda tough to keep your legs warm throughout the whole game not knowing when you would go in. I was able to go in for a few plays and help my team out.”
“It was timely,” Tomlin said. “He had a minor hamstring that kind of slowed some of this. We haven’t been bashful of our intentions. I know sometimes you think we make stuff up, but he’s a capable dude. We are going to use him.”
Tomlin then credited how Fields has supported Wilson and visa versa, he called them both ‘hand in the pile guys.’
