Some good news for the Pittsburgh Steelers on the injury front.
Offensive tackle Zach Banner returned to practice on Wednesday but remains on the Reserve/Injured list.
That means the clock has officially starts for Banner and the Steelers.
The organization has 21 days to activate Banner to the 53-man roster or he will be unable to return for the rest of the season.
Banner has it's hard not being out there, especially when his teammates are struggling.
"It's frustrating, like I said, I'm watching behind Plexiglas," Banner told Poni and Mueller on his weekly show. "I just want everybody to know I don't take comfort in this, in being out, I'm doing everything I can to get back, it's killing me."
Banner as asked if there was a timetable for his return to the field, but said he isn't permitted to answer that.
Defensive tackle Stephon Tuitt and running back Anthony McFarland Jr. remain on the injured list.
