During the first half of the Steelers’ 20-10 win Sunday over the Saints, a flock of pigeons landed on the field at Acrisure Stadium and didn’t move. Unfazed by the Steelers offense driving down the field just a few yards in front of them, they received a front row seat to watch Kenny Pickett work.

Luckily for the pigeons, they saw the Steelers score. They kicked a field goal to conclude the possession, giving them an early 10-0 lead.

This is the second time pigeons have decided to plop down at Acrisure Stadium. During the Steelers’ game against the Buccaneers in Week 6, a group of birds landed on the field while Tampa Bay was on offense.

The Steelers upset the Bucs 20-18, giving them a rare win over Tom Brady, and their most impressive victory of the season. Pittsburgh has only won two games at home this year, both of which featured pigeons sitting comfortably on the turf.

After jumping out to an early lead Sunday, the Steelers held the Saints in check and breezed to a 10-point victory. They picked off Andy Dalton during two of New Orleans’ final three drives. It’s obvious that T.J. Watt’s return made a big difference.

As did the pigeons … again.
