Center fielder Bryan Reynolds has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain.

Reynolds left the game early on Sunday afternoon, an 8-6 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers with “right side discomfort.”

Jack Suwinski pinch hit for Reynolds in the seventh inning.

Reynolds is batting .261 overall in 2022 with 15 home runs and 32 RBI, but in June hit .333 with eight homers and 19 RBI.

The Pirates also announced that outfielder Jake Marisnick is coming off the 60-day injured list.

He will likely see playing time in center field with Suwinski another option.

In other roster moves, the Pirates designated left handed pitcher Cam Vieau for assignment.

The Pirates begin a four-game road trip in Miami against the Marlins Monday night and play in Colorado for three this weekend before the All-Star Break.
