Pirates trade Adam Frazier to Royals in exchange for AAA infielder

The Pittsburgh Pirates have begun making moves ahead of the trade deadline.

According to multiple reports, the Pirates are, once again, dealing infielder Adam Frazier.

The former All-Star is headed to Kansas City in exchange for Triple-A infielder Cam Devanney.

Drafted in the 15th round of the 2019 draft, Devanney is currently hitting .272 with an OPS of .931.

He has 18 home runs and 55 RBI for the Omaha Storm Chasers this season.

The 28-year-old Devanney has yet to make his MLB debut but has been held back because of shortstop All-Star Bobby Witt Jr.

Frazier was an All star in 2021 with the Pirates before he was traded to the San Diego Padres.

Frazier was hitting .255 with the Pirates this season with an OPS of .654, 3 home runs and 21 RBI over 78 games.
