PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Pitt’s most consistent receiver has entered the transfer portal according to CBS Sports.

Junior Kenny Johnson is leaving the Panthers after career highs with 48 receptions for 695 yards and five touchdowns. His 66-yard punt return changed the game at Syracuse. He also had seven catches for 112 yards and a score against NC State and six receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown at Georgia Tech.

In his career at Pitt, 109 receptions, 1,354 yards and nine touchdowns. He returned 42 kickoffs for 965 yards and a touchdown (100 yards) for a 23-yard average. Johnson had 24 punt returns for 244 yards and a TD with a 10.2 average.

He is the second York, PA native to leave Pitt this year, joining sophomore running back Juelz Goff.
