PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Battling back from injury, offensive tackle Branson Taylor is the first Panther drafted in 2025, going Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers in the sixth round.

A knee injury during the Cal game on October 12 ended his final season at Pitt after six games. Voted a captain before the season, Taylor started 21 of the 45 games in his Panthers career.

The 6’6”, 330-pound Ohio native recovered quickly from injury that just over four months later he was competing in the Pitt Pro Day having only two-to-three weeks to prepare. He’s started games at right and left tackle, but much more on the left side.
