Through the help of a large number of donors, Adomitis has passed his goal of raising $94,000 for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Adomitis began the fundraiser earlier this season and promised to shave his long hair off if they met the goal.

Following one’s dreams has been what has motived Adomitis to go from walk-on at Pitt to team captain.

This goal was to help as many children as he can so that they can one day chase their big goals.

Head coach Pat Narduzzi says when he took the job at Pitt he wanted to bring a championship to Pittsburgh, wanted his players to graduate and give back to the community.

“What he did, $94,000 he’s a college student right now and him to be able to do that now, what’s he going to do when he’s 54-year-old and he’s a millionaire?” asked Narduzzi on the Fan Morning Show. “What’s he going to do to impact this community, to impact the City of Pittsburgh?”

Adomitis took advantage of the newly implemented Name, Image, and Likeness by teaming up with Alllstate AFCA Good Works Team, which started the campaign off with a $10,000 donation.
