Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth will likely miss Sunday’s game, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
He reports the third-year TE out of Penn State reaggravated his hamstring during practice on Thursday.
“Freiermuth had an MRI this morning, and now his return to action is on hold,” said Pelissero.
Freiermuth was injured in the third quarter of their Week 4 loss to the Texans in Houston and appeared to be set for a return.
He has eight catches this season for 53 yards and two touchdowns.
The Steelers will get wide receiver Diontae Johnson back against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Steelers will need more from Connor Heyward and Darnell Washington.
