REPORT-Steelers interviewing former Pitt assistant for OC

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Steelers are interviewing Vikings tight ends coach Brian Angelichio to be the next offensive coordinator, first reported by Gerry Dulac at the Post-Gazette.

Angelichio, 53, worked with new Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy for three seasons (2016-19) as the tight ends coach. He coached 93.7 The Fan host Dorin Dickerson at Pitt as the tight ends coach (2006-10). He most recently spent the last four seasons with Kevin O’Connell and the Vikings. He has also worked as the passing game coordinator with Carolina. Angelichio was also the tight ends coach in Washington, Cleveland and Tampa Bay.
