According to a report, the Steelers are going to need to find a wide receivers coach.
The Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac says the Steelers are not retaining Frisman Jackson.
Jackson has been with the Steelers since 2022. He also spent time at the same position with the Tennessee Titans and Carolina Panthers.
Jackson was a wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns between 2002-2006. He had 490 total yards during his career with one touchdown.
He began coaching at his alma mater Western Illinois in 2008.
The Steelers now need a new WR coach, with many people calling for former Steeler WR Hines Ward to be hired.
So far, Jackson is the only coach that won’t be retained in 2024 but with new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith now hired, more changes could be coming.
