According to a few reports, including one from Fan Morning Show’s Adam Crowley, the Steelers will finally have a season opener at home.

Crowley along with others are saying it will be the San Francisco 49ers visiting Acrisure Stadium to kick off the 2023 season.

The Steelers haven’t had an opening game at home since 2014, a 30-27 win against the Browns.

Andrew Fillipponi is reporting that Week 2 will be another home game with the Browns visiting on Sunday Night Football.

That would mean a Pirates/Yankees game in the day and a Steelers/Browns at night.
