It’s currently unknown if Chase Claypool’s toe injury will cause him to miss significant time and with JuJu Smith-Schuster out for the season with a shoulder injury, the Steelers could be in the hunt for a wide receiver.
There just happens to be a wide receiver on the market who just cleared waivers.
Odell Beckham Jr. is a fantastic wide receiver but he comes with a truck load of baggage.
“How much talent is worth the headache that comes with someone like Odell Beckham Jr.,” Fan Morning Show host Chris Mack asked on Wednesday.
Mack says he wouldn’t want OBJ in “a million years” because of the potential of being a toxic presence in the locker room.
Former Bill General Manager Doug Whaley also doesn’t think the Steelers should “kick the tires” with Beckham.
But if Claypool is out for a while, then they’ll need to find some answers at wide receiver.
