“Da, da, da, da, da, It's the one and only D-O-double-G (Snoop Dogg!)”
Hip Hop superstar and longtime Steelers fan Snoop Dogg is happy Mike Tomlin will continue to be the team’s Head Coach but changes need to be made.
Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, Snoop said, “I’ve been a Pittsburgh Steelers fan since 1975 Rich, and I’ve only seen three coaches, I seen Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher and now Mike Tomlin.”
“We’ve had terrible seasons up under Chuck Noll and up under Bill Cowher, this man (Tomlin) has not had one terrible season.”
Snoop goes on to say it’s the staff under Tomlin that is to blame. Eisen says it’s Tomlin that picks the staff.
Snoop says then the answer is easy. “so maybe it should be a general manager or somebody that steps in and does some assisting and say ‘we’ll we’re going to pick the D-coordinator and the O-coordinator, you over see it all coach because we ain’t been to the (playoffs) in a long time, we just keep sliding in’.”
He says the next step is changing the style of offense that he says has been a “1984” style offense and needs to be more like “2025.” Snoop believes the offense has the weapons but they need to be used correctly.
Snoop is a big fan of T.J. Watt and the defense though.
