The Steelers have a lot more going for them heading into the playoffs this season compared to years past.
Instead of being banged up with top stars questionable or out, Head Coach Mike Tomlin says the team is going into the Wild Card round relatively healthy.
During his news conference on Tuesday, Tomlin said that he had no new injuries to address and only said there were some “bumps and bruises” during the Ravens game.
He added that none of the players that returned for the final game of the season took a step backwards.
That includes, edge rusher T.J. Watt, guard Isaac Seumalo, wide receiver Calvin Austin III and cornerbacks Brandin Echols and James Pierre.
The Steelers will need all hands-on deck, the Steelers next opponent, the Houston Texans, have won nine-straight and have one of the best defenses in the NFL.
And don't forget, DK Metcalf returns after a two-game suspension.
The Steelers host the Texans at 8 p.m. on Monday Night Football.
