Steelers had to deal with a snake in the locker room in Washington

In “Toy Story” Woody had to deal with a snake in his boots, Samuel L. Jackson had to deal with "Snakes On A Plane" and inside the visiting locker room at Northwest Stadium on Sunday, the Steelers had to deal with their own snake!

Speaking on his “Not Just Football” podcast, Steelers defensive captain Cam Heyward said a snake was the talk of the locker room before Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders.

“Before the game, I got out, warm up, I come back in, right? Everybody’s was a little bit shocked when I came in,” said Heyward. “I was like; ‘what’s going on?’ There was a snake in our locker room, a snake!

Heyward adds the snake came from under Russ(ell Wilson’s) locker and that “everybody was thrown for a loop.”

Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin brushed off the snake telling his players they could worry about the snake or go out and win a game.

The snake didn’t affect the outcome of Sunday’s matchup, with the Steelers getting past Washington 28-27.

What about the snake? Well, the Dallas Cowboys may want to keep an eye out when they are in the visitor’s locker room on November 24, because Heyward says it wasn’t caught.

“Nobody got it . . . it slithered right back under,” said Heyward.
