Steelers odds on favorite, again, to land WR Cooper Kupp in trade

Cooper Kupp says the Rams have told him they are looking to deal the wide receiver and the Steelers are at the top of potential landing spots, according to betting odds.

Bovada sportsbook says the Steelers “are the favorites” to trade for the All-Pro WR.

The Steelers are at +115, following by the Charges at +250 and the Buccaneers and Lions at +750.

There was talk before the trade deadline that the Steelers could be in the mix for Kupp, but the Rams began winning and secured a playoff spot.

Kupp hasn’t played an entire season since 2021 and started 11 games with the Rams this past season. He missed time with an ankle injury.

He had 710 yards in 2024 with six touchdowns. He hasn’t had 1,000 yards or more in a season since 2021. BUT, he hasn't played an entire season since then.

Kupp is set to make $12.5 million this coming season and $14.85 in 2026.

Adam Crowley says Kupp is still productive but with his struggles to stay healthy and age, he doesn't see him here for the team's next renaissance.

But Dorin Dickerson thinks Kupp could be a good influence in the wide receiver room, especially with the team likely drafting at least one WR in the draft.

He’s also 31-years-old (will be 32 at the beginning of the season) and his best years are likely behind him.

The price before the deadline was reportedly at second-round pick.

The Steelers went all in on Brandon Aiyuk last offseason, but he eventually re-signed with the San Francisco 49ers before he tore his ACL in October.

The Steelers are lacking at wide receiver with George Pickens the only credible, consistent threat.

But his mercurial nature has led to some issues on the field.

The Steelers need depth at wideout and Kupp could add a veteran presence to the room.
