Steelers safety DeShon Elliott WILL play against Bengals Thursday night

He was listed as 'questionable' for a personal reason

The Steelers got some good news ahead of their game Thursday night in Cincinnati.

Steelers Director of Communication Burt Lauten posted on social media, that safety DeShon Elliott has traveled with the team and will play against the Bengals.

Elliott was listed as Questionable on Wednesday’s final practice report due to a personal issue.

After missing some time after a knee injury in Week One, Elliott’s absence was noticeable in the secondary.

The starting strong safety is an impact player when he is on the field.

Wide receiver Calvin Austin III (shoulder) and special teamer Miles Killebrew (knee) are both out for the Bengals Game.

Linebacker Malik Harrison, with a knee injury, is questionable.
