Just days after the Steelers rocked their famous throwback jerseys to celebrate the 1974 Super Bowl Championship team, the organization is switching things up again for Monday night’s game against the other New York team, the Giants.
The Steelers have announced they’ll wear the popular Color Rush uniforms at Acrisure Stadium.
The black tops and pants are highlighted by gold block numbers and all gold stripes on the arms.
The Color Rush uniforms were used in the NFL on Thursday Night Football between 2015 and 2017. The Steelers have continued to break out the uniforms for special primetime games.
“Monday Night Football at Acrisure Stadium promises to deliver an electric atmosphere for fans,” said Steelers Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Ryan Huzjak. “We’re excited to help build that excitement even further by bringing back the fan-favorite color rush uniforms.”
With the Color Rush jerseys being worn on Monday night, the Steelers are encouraging all fans coming to Acrisure Stadium to wear black jerseys as well.

The Steelers have a record of 7-3 lifetime while wearing the Color Rush uniforms.
