According to a report, the Steelers and head coach Mike Tomlin are facing heavy fines for violating NFL mask policies this past Sunday.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reports Tomlin was hit with a $100,000 fine and the team was hit for $250,000.
Tomlin, who has been diligent with wearing a mask on the sidelines during games this season, was laxer this Sunday during their 28-24 victory against the Baltimore Ravens.
The coach was seen several times on the sidelines and on the field during an injury with his face covering down around his neck.
The Steelers head to Dallas to play the Cowboys this Sunday.
On Thursday the Raiders were reportedly hit with the most severe punishment in the NFL for repeated COVID-19 voilations.
The team was fined $500,000 and was docked their sixth-round draft pick in next year’s draft.
