Steelers tumble in NFL Power Rankings heading into Week 3

After a disappointing home opening loss against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Steelers have tumbled in the latest NFL.com power rankings.

After an upset win to start the season in Buffalo, the Steelers came in at No. 5, but have now fallen seven spots to No. 12.

NFL Network's Dan Hanzus says that Sunday's loss "puts the focus back on an underwhelming offense."

"Ben Roethlisberger is no longer the star who can put the Steelers on his back; the 39-year-old veteran needs help to make this attack go and he's not getting enough of it from his offensive line or running game," added Hanzus.

Hanzus adds that offensive coordinator Matt Canada shoulders part of the blame with the team still trying to figure out what their offensive identity is.

"Pittsburgh should remain competitive as long as the defense stays intact, but a serious Super Bowl run will be impossible without balance on the other side of the ball," said Hanzus.

Around the AFC North, the Ravens jumped up to No. 3 after their win against the Chiefs, the Browns stayed the same at No. 3 and the Steelers next opponent, the Bengals fell three spots to No. 26.

Bleacher Report also had the Steelers falling far, going from No. 8 to No. 14 this week.

Their explanation simply starts out with, "The Pittsburgh Steelers have problems."
