There are no Mike Sullivans left in Pittsburgh sports

It looks like both men named Mike Sullivan in Pittsburgh sports are gone.

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced Monday that they and the two-time Stanley Cup champion coach parted ways.

The move by the Penguins prompted some in Steelers media to check on the status of offensive assistant Mike Sullivan.

ESPN Steelers reporter Brooke Pryor and other noticed that Sullivan’s name and bio is no longer on the team’s website.

It appears the Steelers Sullivan is also gone and it’s unknown when his name was taken off the Steelers’ website.

Sullivan came in as the Steelers quarterbacks coach in 2021 and after offensive coordinator Matt Canada was fired in 2023, Sullivan became the team’s main play-caller the rest of that season.

Last season, under new OC Arthur Smith, Sullivan was listed as a “senior offensive assistant” but now appears to be gone.
