Pitt Basketball guard Dior Johnson is no longer attending the University, according to the program.
The five-star recruit was involved in a domestic abuse incident in September 2022.
Never playing in a game, Johnson plead guilty to two charges of strangulation and simple assault.
Four of the charges were dropped.
Johnson never played a regular season game for the Panthers.
At 6-foot-3 inches, the Saugerties, New York is Jeff Capel’s highest recruit to come to Pitt during his time.
The program now has two open scholarships for the 2023-24 season.
