PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – A couple of starters listed as questionable for the Steelers on Sunday against the Raiders. It’s also a pair that would be responsible, at least in part, to helping control Raiders tight end Darren Waller.

Corner Joe Haden and linebacker Devin Bush each have groin injuries, each were limited in practice on Friday.

If Haden would be unable to play, it would likely restrict how much they could move Cam Sutton and likely Minkah Fitzpatrick and Tre Norwood around on defense.  That is something the team discussed over the last few days as being such an advantage for them in making it tougher for Las Vegas quarterback Derrick Carr to determine what coverage they are in.

If Bush can’t go, Robert Spillane is back to full practice after missing Sunday in Buffalo with a pregame shin injury.  Spillane would fill in, but Bush is much better at covering receivers.  Like a vertical threat TE like Waller.

Carlos Davis played as part of the defensive line rotation on Sunday.  It could be a first opportunity for rookie Isaiahh Loudermilk to play.  He was a healthy scratch against the Bills.

Tight end Zach Gentry is also questionable on Sunday due to an ankle injury.  Gentry is the best blocking tight end and while Eric Ebron returned to full practice and is full go for the game.  Ebron is nursing a hamstring injury and ideally wouldn’t play as many snaps.  A chance Pine-Richland grad Kevin Rader gets a call-up against the Raiders.
