PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – While his status for this week is not yet determined, Steelers linebacker TJ Watt did not practice on Wednesday. He was one of a number of players who didn’t work full in the first on-field work for Detroit.
Watt suffered a punctured lung last week. The team was thin at outside linebacker Wednesday as Nick Herbig (hamstring) could not practice. Corner James Pierre was unable to practice as he missed the Monday night game with a calf injury. Guard Isaac Seumalo didn’t go as he left the game against the Dolphins with a triceps injury.
Good news-Aaron Rodgers said the wrist is improving and went through a full practice and defensive tackle Derrick Harmon practiced full for the first time since the knee injury.
"Yeah, it's still not 100%," Rodgers said of his wrist. "I'm having battles with the training staff. Happy battles, not knock-down, drag-out battles, but trying to feel more normal, so to go through practices like today without anything on my wrist. I'm still not without some pain with certain movements, but I'm trying to get the strength back in all those little muscles that have been unused for a number of weeks. So it's a work in progress."
