Speaking during an event on Friday, Steelers owner Art Rooney II said they expect to know next week if Pittsburgh will get the host the NFL Draft soon.
"It looks good and we should find out next week," Rooney said, according to KDKA Radio host Michael Bartley.
Bartley said the answer came during a Q&A.
Rooney made the comments during the Steelers Community Impact Breakfast at Acrisure Stadium.
The 2025 NFL Draft will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The Steelers officially put in a bid for Pittsburgh to hold the NFL Draft in 2026 or 2027, back in February.
The NFL Draft would likely be the biggest event in Pittsburgh history and would generate millions of dollars for the local economy.
