PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – There is only one Steeler ruled out for the game in Denver and a familiar designation for the starting quarterback. The Steelers injury report for the game at Denver.
Guard Isaac Seumalo didn’t play last week and wasn’t able to practice this week and will miss the game with a pectoral injury.
Two are listed as questionable, quarterback Russell Wilson and rookie receiver Roman Wilson. Roman Wilson went full for the first time since late July on Thursday and was limited on Friday with his ankle injury.
Mike Tomlin probably tipped his hand, which wasn’t hard to read as to his quarterback.
“I’m going to list him as questionable,” Tomlin said after the last practice of Denver week. “And so obviously, if his availability is questionable, then starting is less so. But we’ve been in that mindset all week. Like I’ve said, we’ve been focused on getting Justin ready to play, and we’ll continue in that mindset as we push forward toward game time.”
Those who missed some practice this week but are fully cleared
· OT Dan Moore (ankle)
· LB Patrick Queen (groin)
· CB Darius Rush (concussion)
· DT Cam Heyward (veteran’s day)
· DT Larry Ogunjobi (knee)
Tomlin was not going to tip his hand as to the starting tackles in Denver. Troy Fautanu is now full go for a whole week.
“I think the only thing different this week is Troy is more available, obviously his availability is not in question,” Tomlin said on Friday. “Been more thoughtful about how to distribute reps. At the end of this thing, we’ll determine who plays and how often.”
Tomlin said he’s comfortable with Broderick Jones at left tackle, if it would work out that way.
