WR Wilson placed on Reserve/Injured list, other moves ahead of Giants game

The Steelers have made several roster moves ahead of Monday night’s game including placing a rookie receiver on the Reserve/Injured List.

Roman Wilson, taken 84th overall this past draft in the 3rd-round, has been unable to consistently practice with the team since Training Camp.

He will now miss at least the next four games and it seems like the 2024 season will be lost for Wilson.

The Steelers also many other moves ahead of the primetime game.

Running back Jonathan Ward has been elevated from the practice squad, WR Brandon Johnson “was elevated to the Active/Inactive Roster from the practice squad” and RB Aaron Shampklin was released from the team’s 53-man roster.

Ward has appeared in the past three game for the Steelers. He has five carries for 22 yards in those games. He was in for injured RB Cordarrelle Patterson.
