OXNARD, Calif. (KNX) – One person is dead and two are injured following a shooting at a party in Oxnard Saturday night, police said.

Officers responded to a reported shooting victim just before 9:40 p.m. in the 3000 block of Saviers Road, according to a press release.
Upon arriving, police found 21-year-old Adrian Sandoval, unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police also found two other people – identified as Diego Mares, 19, and Arkangel Childs, 24 – suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital for further treatment. Officials said Childs was listed in critical condition.
Further investigation revealed the shooting happened inside an “abandoned building” where witnesses told officers that a party was going on. Officials said it’s unclear if the property owners knew about the party.
Anyone who attended the party or has any information of the shooting is urged to contact Detective Kaya Boysan at (805) 385-7645. The City of Oxnard offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any individuals responsible for the shooting.
Those who have videos or photos related to the incidents are asked to contact investigators.
