A search is underway for the person or people who stole goats from an Ontario farm.
Twelve goats were stolen from Drake Family Farms, a dairy farm that uses goats to produce cheese, soap, and other products that they sell at farmers' markets.
Among the goats stolen, seven were pregnant. One of the goats had given birth one to two hours before being stolen while another goat had given birth 24 hours prior. Three babies were also taken.
As a result of one of the goats being stolen, two baby goats were left abandoned.

Co-owner Kim Drake told KNX News’ Larry Perel that the video showed a truck pulled up Monday night around 11 pm. The next morning, an employee found a hole in the fence. Drake said the police were contacted but were told there wasn't much they could do unless the goats showed up at auction.
“I mean, they were kind. They were nice and they took a report but, I feel like there should be more urgency when it's livestock and when it's pregnant livestock,” she said.
The farm is offering a $2,500 reward for anyone who finds the goats.
