North Texas keeps winning big on companies either moving from or expanding out of California.
Governor Greg Abbott has announced North Texas will be the new home of John Paul Mitchell Systems, a distributor of popular hair care products.
The company is expanding their corporate headquarters to a new site in Wilmer in southern Dallas County.
"Texas is the headquarters of headquarters," Governor Abbott said in a statement Thursday. "This $12 million investment by John Paul Mitchell Systems to expand their corporate headquarters to Texas and establish a new global product distribution center in Wilmer will create 80 new good-paying jobs for hardworking Texans."
