A body was found Wednesday near the transition road from the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway to the westbound Garden Grove (22) Freeway in the Santa Ana area.
The body was discovered shortly before 8 a.m. in a tunnel area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Information was not immediately available on the person's identity or cause of death. The transition road was closed while an investigation was conducted.
