Culver City police searching for suspect in armed robbery at Mini Mart

CULVER CITY, Calif. (KNX) – Culver City police are searching for the suspect in a Mini Mart robbery that occurred Thursday night.

Just before 8 p.m., officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Mini Mary on Overland Avenue.

The cashier told officers the suspect pointed a handgun at him before grabbing money from the cash register and taking off. He was last seen going toward Braddock Drive.

The suspect was described by Culver City police as being “male, Hispanic, 20-25 years old, wearing a Washington Nationals hat with “Diablos” embroidered onto the side, long gray sleeve shirt, dark pants, black and white Nike shoes, gloves, and a black face mask.” He also uss a semi-automatic handgun.

Officers believe the suspect could be responsible for similar robberies that happened in Southern California.
