A man died Monday morning after his white compact pickup crashed into a construction zone in the West Adams area of Los Angeles.
The crash was at 12:44 a.m. at Crenshaw Boulevard and West 30th Street, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Annie Moran.

The northbound vehicle veered left, crashing into a catwalk and scaffolding, Moran said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, she said.
The crash was under investigation.
