Sen. John Fetterman could remain hospitalized for more than a month before returning to office.

That's according to the Wall Street Journal. Fetterman is currently undergoing treatment for clinical depression after admitting himself to Walter Reed Military Medical Center last week.

It is not uncommon for people like Fetterman, who suffered a stroke during his campaign last year, to experience depression after a stroke.

According to the American Stroke Association, about one third of all stroke survivors suffer from clinical depression.
