The fire was reported at 11:49 p.m. Sunday in the 13500 block of Harbor Boulevard, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

The abandoned building was well-involved in flames when firefighters arrived so they used large hose streams from the ground and aerial ladders to battle the fire from the outside, fire officials said.

At about 1:05 a.m., officials reported the adjacent structures were protected and that investigators were on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

Harbor Boulevard was closed in both directions from Trask Avenue to Cardinal Circle.
