Four people were injured Friday, two critically in a three-vehicle crash in the South Los Angeles area.

The collision was reported about 8:35 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of East Florence Avenue, just east of Avalon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Paramedics transported the injured parties for hospital treatment, the LAFD reported. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
